I'm sure she has sat down and weighed up all the pros and cons, she probably realises she will never receive any ministerial position and perhaps has had enough of back bench politics. She may see this move as a way of getting her profile increased although her reasons for going in there are a bit disengenuious.

Good luck to her it's a gamble but life is a gamble in any case..!!

I would agree if she had resigned from her position, and went off to do her own thing, but upping sticks while you are a serving MP back from your summer jollies, who may miss two important commons votes, one on child abuse... then no I'm afraid I dont wish her any luck at all, she wants her cake and eat it.
