I love Christmas but really don't like new years eve. When I was younger it was the best night and I'd queue for tickets for a club for hours and we would plan every fine detail but now I find it really quite depressing I don't know why.

Our traditon is to have lots of family around for our New Years Day Dinner then we set off sky lanterns in memory of our loved ones that have passed on.

i generally am in bed and asleep b4 midnight these days. years ago i wud go clubbing then back to my sisters for an all night party where even strangers were invited lol

I prefer keeping it a bit more low key for New Years, you can have a much better night going down the local or just spending it with a few friends then going into town when it's stupidly busy and expensive and you end up having an average night for about £100

On boxing day we go to my grandparents, and on the 27th my other grandparents
New years day is always a massive family reunion

same because part of my famerly down south we do chirsmas 2 times for them on new years day

My mother says that we should open both the front and back door to let the old year out and the new year in - I do that every year. When I was younger I would beat pots and pans and make noise out in the streets.
