That scene with Carmel and the lawyer was just stupid. As if he'd act like that when he's at work.

As for the McQueen's and their "faith" they make me laugh. Biggest sinners in soap.

Mercy's barrister is so funny and weird. I hope he gets her off, although I do have sympathy for Mitzeee.

I actually liked the Sinead/Diane scenes on E4 tonight and Bart is just awful as always.

The Jacqui/Brendan scene was kinda awkward and the scenes at Chez Chez were kind of funny.

Emmett Scanlan was the one who decided to leave Hollyoaks. He hasn't been fired. As if they would do that! I bet Brian will try his best to convince him to stay longer!

Obviously it his his own decision and it was inevitable he would want to move on to do other acting roles anyway.

In a way I think I will be relieved for the show when Emmett/Brendan leave, they will be missed and it would end the Stendan/Stug thing at last.

Emmett is a good Actor and whether you like or dislike him Brendan is a controversial character and has been important for the show during his reign, although the show will soon move on and find the next baddie ready to terrorise the village.

I can't wait to see Emmett in other roles! He wants to do gritty kind of shows, similar to The Sopranos! Sounds amazing!

I don't know, I've never seen him in anything else so I don't know what his versatility is like. But I could see him getting a part in a US series, not movies though.

I mean if Barry Sloane and Rob Kazinsky can get roles on US TV then Scanlan can.
