Just letting you know (via mobiles internet) after a long, stressful day we got there, and am beginning to settle in to the new place. Feels really surreal, like I shouldn't be here but I had a curry for dinner so its ok (although I will pay for ir tomorrow)

Always seems that way, doesn't it, like you're a stranger? Surreal, and then the boxes go away, you learn the feel of the kitchen, things find places, and new **** begins to pile up, like clockwork. You learn the shops nearby, and meet some good people. It'll be home in no time.

..well, us mums would be stressed with the whole moving thing anyway...it's probably best to put a bit of distance between yourself and a stressed mum...the pub sounds a good place to do that....
