Default UK £5 Note to become made of Plastic

"Is this the end of paper banknotes? Plastic version
could be in your pocket in just three years
Overhaul could see environmentally-friendly
notes introduced from 2015
Have proved a success since being introduced
in Australia in 1988
Plastic lasts much longer and are more
hygienic but more expensive to make"

I'll cut your fingers in a minute Saph

I think plastic would be better because some of the notes are so old and torn I never like giving them to customers as change

ONLY for fives? Seems a bit strange. I'd like it if it was for all notes, but then again I think cash should be abolished and use cards only.

Why does the title only mention fivers? You could have said UK notes.
