The morning of the launch of BB13, DS:BB was almost as dead, probably the deadest I'd seen it not including the time it was axed, that night 3,216 posts were made in the official launch thread alone (806 more than CBB9) and over a thousand more a night were made for about a week (200 more than CBB9) in the highlight threads. 0.9 million were made in the BB section alone by the end of CBB10, 6.64%/one 15th of the posts since the BB forum on DS opened. Considering a thread on DS:BB during BB5-BB7 on DS would fall of the first page in 2 minutes most nights, that's a very strong figure.

My point is, just because it's dead now doesn't mean it will be dead then, people just aren't interested in the build up stuff now, it's not been exciting for years, DS:BB almost ignores the build up completely. It also doesn't reflect ratings, DS:BB is almost twice as busy as DS's X Factor forum on series even now.

X Factor forum = 3.38 million posts
BB Forum = 13.54 million posts

Posts during this X Factor = 600,000
Posts during BB13 and CBB10 (One week shorter run, even combined, 5 months after the previous series and with 6 million less viewers) = 900,000
