I know I'm bringing a thread back from the dead but i have to add something more now that this came back up in my head
3 other shows The Amazing Race (A US show that has teams of two racing around the world while facing obstacles) Survivor (Imagine the survivalness of IAC with the strategy of Big Brother USA) The Real World (A Jersey Shore type show where you have 7-8 Reality Show Stereotypes living under the same roof. In Fact JS ripped this show off IMO)
