I can't say I was particularly well acquainted with previous forum members who passed on, but, whilst not on a personal level, I had seen posts from Pyramid* around the forum, very recently too I recall, so it feels 'different' to other news of a similar nature we've (sadly) seen on this forum. It's bizarre how things happen like that, but sadly, such is life.

Bless you for posting that up, Ammi. I couldn't stop the tears earlier or that horrible feel deep in the stomach when such news like this is posted. And although that poem brought those tears again, it is such a beautiful poem and part of Caroline that she left behind. It is beautiful as was she, she had a softer side that many never got to see in posts.

Hi Kazanne, yes, they still post there on the Bennites thread. Could you PM them there? so they can leave messages here if they wish to. Patsy Limmerick, and Scots Rool were very close to Mids on there, also.

I really don't know what to say...
I'm in shock, pyramid was one of the first to welcome me to tibb.
We clashed on our political and social outlooks but I had a lot of respect for her.
What terrible news.

Oh my God I can't believe this! What horrible news! I mean I know Pyramid and I weren't exactly friends and we did have our fair share of disagreements, but like it or not she really did put life into the forum. It's such a shame to hear this.

This is very sad news Kazanne very kindly sent me a message on DS to let me know. Pyramid was very funny and quick witted. She didn't shy away with her opinions either and that often got her into trouble with the mods, but she was a lovely person.

Oh my god I know I don't post often andI'm more a lurker but I saw Pyramid all around the forum. I'm genuinely a bit teary I hate hearing about members passing on. RIP love and thoughts with friends and family.

I have emailed U.V to let her know because they were quite close for a time and she is also sad to hear the news The funny thing is, some DS posters were only discussing Pyramid the other day and I think it was Patsy who posted a link to an old thread she'd started. She said how much she missed her from the forum as well, and I'm sure she will be upset when she finds out what has happened.

Many thanks for the nice messages posted here. Caroline was an opinionated bugger but that is what made her such a fun FM.

Some people have noticed that in PM or emailing each other directly she was a very caring woman. I'll miss her.

this news has upset me big time!
i feel robbed,its only forum land but you cant help getting attached to member's and lookforward to their post's,
