He was a very high priority target, his unit is and always will be. Apache helicopter gunships are expensive but they are also highly accurate long range killing machines, the gunships will be always be high priority targets to the Taliban as long as they operate out there.
Dont think that the "chat" he had wasn't scripted, rehearsed, edited and fully scrutinised not only by the program makers, but also by Buck House, the MOD and the government.
Even if this wasnt the original idea behind it, it has now projected the fact that he was the highest earning target for the Taliban to take out, he has now been up against them two times, they have totally failed, its a kick in the pants for them.
The Afghan mindset is different to the UK mindset and this interview will be seen as a big open insult to the Taliban, it totally undermines them in the eyes of the Afghani. Kudos for Harry and ISAF, big big loss of face for the Taliban.
