I think Speidi 'ham it up' a bit, a bit like Simon Cowell, as they are well known to be nasty, but I do think that they are actually arseholes too, Spencer in particular...

They're famous for being villains, that's the role they were cast on The Hills. It was a part, an act, a persona. Spencer was right, that's what they were paid to do (whether they were told to or not), he knows that's what the producers would've wanted (and so does anyone with a brain) and so he gave it to them.

That's much more than can be said for the rest of the housemates who have completely wasted the budget by doing **** all.
