Slated for an official announcement on Wednesday, the diva’s spectacle succeeds Madonna’s showcase this year and marks the second time the 31 year old has performed at the ratings juggernaut. Indeed, 2004 saw her soar with the US National Anthem at that year’s games, which took place in her hometown of Houston.

What also is clearly on the horizon is new Beyonce music. Historically, next to no acts who’ve taken to the Half-Time stage do so with retrospective material only. Put simply, it looks like King B will be lau
nching her 5th album campaign on the biggest of stages.

Saw her perform with Jay at his Brooklyn show on the YouTube stream. She was quality.
