Companies always try to pay people the minimum they can get away with, as they exist purely to create profits. Think of where you could go, and plan a path together that if you keep your end of the bargain, then you guarantee yourself development.

They do offer positions but I wouldn't except if they offered. The reason why is the pay that the managers get compared to the work they have to do is not even worth it.
And like Smithy said do something you'd enjoy..
I just don't wake up every morning and think "This is where I want to be." It's usually I want out, to do something different.
