The New Results got less viewers than a Big Bang Theory rerun at the same time. I'm serious

Apparently due to there being too many episodes and not enough contestants left, the producers have decided that the save can be used at Top 4. So basically, whoever goes home next week (Amber) will be saved.

Actually the FOX press release explicitly stated that the Top 4 will become Top 3.

They have to be on the air May 16th. So I'm guessing the final week will be a celebration of the season with the Winner basically showing off their winner album.

Can I see a source please? Most news articles have stated that producers will allow the save to still be in play.

Ah I see. They only said it in one sentence at the end though, so I wouldn't be surprised if they changed their minds

It would make alot more sense to have the save then to have a random week of nothingness

Maybe, like us here with our own crap talent show in X Factor, are sick of the long winded results show.

the show has been spiraling downhill since Season 9 (Which was the first season without Paula, the talent wasn't helping). Also BBT keeps gaining viewers and viewers on CBS thanks to Syndicated Reruns and TBS Reruns.

I do think they should only have a 30 minute results show. Every show's results should be 30 minutes unless it's a finale.

I do need to let people know that it was only in the 18-49 target demo.

And They basically Bussed Kree last night. and pimped the hell out of Amber. To the point where it pissed off some people. Because they were still talking about Amber in the second cycle two songs in.

Also they announced that a surprise twist is going to be revealed on the results show. I have a feeling that the show will jump the shark by not eliminating anyone. Of course they'll move the votes to next week. Or they'll reveal that they'll perform original songs next week.

Don't waste your time, no one got the boot but Angie and Kree were the top 2 and Amber and Candice (Who's getting thrown under the bus in favor of Amber) were the bottom 2. Votes carry onto next week

Only began watching last season and really enjoyed it. Thought it was miles ahead of X Factor.

Good week for Angie and Kree, as I imagine Candice is surely lingering near that top spot usually. Head start on her this week.

Here's a fun fact

Kelly Clarkson, the original Winner, never was shown auditioning or in the hollywood round due to season 1 being a way shorter season. The Semi final heats (the semi finals have changed from season to season) was the first time she was shown and she joined the front runners. When American Idol Rewind came around it was the first time they showed her audition.

Also The Voice US is a good reason why Idol isn't the juggernaut like it was. Along with no diversity with the winners, which in the last 5 years were all white guys with guitars. Along with constantly changing panels as well too.

I wish I had watched previous seasons. My Auntie was always telling my Mum how good it was.

Personally, The Voice (UK one that is) hasn't gripped me at all. To begin with it sounded interesting, not seeing who was singing. For me the appeal was quickly lost with that. Also, whilst it's good in one respect (not judging a book by its cover) the other side to it is you could spin your chair round and see a 50 year old rocker that just isn't going to sell records.

Maybe it's just singing competitions as a whole that are losing appeal. Our X Factor is just crap nowadays (missing Simon big time). That said, enjoyed both series of X Factor USA.

I enjoy XFUS but there's many problems with it. Like Joke Acts and the OTT performances. Some people hate the final showdown but I love it. I love the simple results reveal. You hear your name, you're safe.

The American Version of the Voice is great, The panel gets along but isn't afraid of poking fun at each other, and they're mainly positive about the contestants on the other teams. this season it's Adam Levine (Lead Singer of Maroon 5), Blake Shelton (Country Singer that's kinda crazy), Usher, and Shakira. Usually it's Adam, Blake, Christina Aguilara, and Ceelo Green. They're trying two seasons a year and it's working so far.

Have there been joke acts that have gotten into the live shows though in XFUS? I don't recall there being any, unlike in the UK one.

Two series a year would be a pipe dream over here for the BBC. Doesn't appear to of clicked with us here whereas it seems it has in America. Last Saturday's episode was 2 million adrift of Britain's Got Talent, a programme which itself is flagging in ratings.

Cece could be considered that and for sure Jason during the live shows. I don't there think was season 1 but Astro got on people's nerves alot for being Cocky

Oh, I was thinking more joke acts as in Wagner and Rylan xD.

Jason Brock had a great voice though, it's just that painful first live show where he was made a laughing stock.
