Do you honestly think that if she'd turned it down he'd still be hosting? They wanted him gone, Emma knew as such, and rather than be precious about a two year friendship, she put her career, the thing that feeds her kids, first and take it. Would you really have rathered some **** T4 hipster had replaced him instead? She's no more ruthless than he was taking a job that everyone but the producers believed should be hers.
