The door is open though marcus, her ban is up shortly, I am expecting that is a clean slate so to speak? It is unfair to expect her to run the gauntlet of jibes and abuse on her return.
It seems that there may be some who still have issues, I really hope that any unnecessary comments are nipped in the bud.

Surely this goes both ways? If she comes back full of hell, no-one can expect everyone to be welcoming.

I would like it if could all be put behind us and everyone could just ignore those that irritate them (or at the very least have their petty arguments over PM instead of all over the damn forum) but it takes both sides to be mature enough to do that.

I couldn't agree more, Vicky. Personally i'm willing to forgive and forget. Life is too short for petty arguments. Let's just all enjoy Big Brother when it starts.

Like jack said there are many characters on here and we all rub along reasonably well most of the time. It would be better if anyone had an issue they could take it to PM that may be a good way to resolve this, nobody wants to see it on the forum do they?

On the same note..I feel theres a few who (upon her return) kate may have an axe to grind with.

No, no-one wants to see it on the forum..but no-one listens either when we say over and over to take it to PM. Seems the huge majority of members on here (no-one inparticular..like 90% of members in general) prefer their petty squabbles to be public.

There may be some animosity on both sides but I am sur that they aare adult enough for it not to spill over.

If you're referring to me, then I can assure you, I have no desire to entertain anything to do with Kate. In my case there's been too much water under the bridge for me to simply forgive and forget. I have my reasons for disliking her. That's my problem, no one elses.
It may just be a forum and words on the internet, but when things get personal its harder to stay undeterred by it.

All I was getting at is that you expect those who Kate has royally pissed off to simply forget it, and I don't agree with that.

This needs to be said and then I'm done. That same person you are getting butthurt about people being nasty too, before she's even returned and had to face a mythical TIBB gauntlet (way too dramatic), has been daubing the internet with continued snipes and gripes. Even today, so the question needs to be asked, can you not see the stark hypocrisy on display here?

I have no intention of having anything to do with her, and I think she'll treat me in the same way, but Kate needs to return in a far more humble manner than she left, and there really isn't any evidence of that being the case thus far.

I do know yes, I also know you have taken exception to kate for whatever reason. She has no reason to be 'humble' she was banned and that ban is about to be lifted. The same rules then apply to her as you or I.
I appreciate nothing has happened, I am simply fearful it will is all.
I myself have had an awkward period of adjustment returning to the forum from an absence as you may be aware.
But I will see, my fears may be unwarranted, I hope they are.
