It's not official, but it's very likely, they've been working on it for quite a while now, and this year is the last big year for the Xbox 360 and PS3 so it'd be worth launching it this year.

The PS4 has E3 won already, Sony knows what gamers want and they'll give it to them in spades. Microsoft will probably spend most of their conference masturbating over Microsoft Glass and how you can switch channels with your voice.

yeah i know, its one of my favourite games and i sold my ps3 and switched to xbox not long ago.. gutted i wont be able to play it again

If Uncharted 4 is announced at E3 and the next Quantic Dream game looks amazing (let's face it Heavy Rain slayed and Beyond looks brilliant) then there is no return for XBox, it's done.

This is pretty much how I feel, Sony know their audience, and they know how to please them, Microsoft just seem to be throwing everything into a box.

It's not just with the Xbox though, Microsoft as a whole has generally been a bit **** since Bill Gates left.

This may be the most important E3 in many many years. Both Sony & Microsoft are launching their new consoles at a time when consoles are looking like they might now be fighting to remain relevant, and so both companies are going to have to bring the big guns.

Then you have Nintendo trying to get back into the fight after the disastrous year one of Wii U. So as well as all of the good stuff Sony and Microsoft are going to have on show, we've got guaranteed Mario Kart, Smash Brothers 4 and Super Mario. Plus news on the Occulus Rift, and rumours of long awaited returns like Agent, Final Fantasy Versus, The Last Guardian, Kingdom Hearts 3 and Mirror's Edge 2.

This will certainly be interesting.
