Am I alone in thinking this way?

I liked the girl in BB7, she was nice quiet girl.

But after reading on this forum and Digtial Spy, You'd think she alone made Big Brother 7 awesome. When I read people say she's the greatest Housemate ever I'm really flabbergasted. Also the rewritten history of her stay in the house by her fans is over the top, She stood up to Sezer and Grace (complete B.S). She had one of the worse and contrived moments in BB history when she came roaring in crying after not choosing some lad she barely knew.

I have to say she's probably number 1 in my list as most Overrated Housemates in BB UK history. Not a terrible Housemate but very much rewriting of real events by her fans.

she was my favourite in BB7 but I expected her to be a lot better! I don't think she was argumentative enough.

I remember a moment in the diary room when she saw herself audition in heavy make up acting gangster and she looked genuinely disgusted and upset in herself. After she saw that it looked as if she wanted to change herself and her attitude and that's when she became my favourite, and I'm pretty sure that's the same day she went from like 8th to 2nd favourite to win the whole show.

I agree, she was overrated but I can see in a way why her fans hyped her up to be the underdog.

Nikki was always a much better housemate than Aisleyne and is remembered more amongst the general public, glad to see they are friends now and moved on from their BB rivalry though.

Debatable, everyone I know remembers that year for Aisleyne more than Nikki.

Is her audition tape in full uploaded anywhere? Unfortunately we only saw a small segment of it in one of the HLs where it was played back to her, but it looked right good for a laugh.

It's not even debatable that Nikki is more memorable than Aisleyne.

I liked Aisleyne but I too thought she was overrated. And I didn't start liking her until Nikki left.

When she was on BOTS on Fri, i wasn't 100% sure what her name was.

Aisleyne was an amazing housemate.

She set up so many story arcs within the house, had the ability to rile people up for no reason whatsoever and most importantly: she went on a journey throughout her experience, which was great viewing.

I always think that if you imagine someone not being in a series and you think it would be completely different, then that person was a great housemate. And I just can't imagine BB7 without Aisleyne.

At first I didn't like her at all but as the weeks went on she just grew on me. I think the turning point for me was when she almost decked Grace when she threw the water on Susie.

I was so pleased she came 3rd, was abroad at the time watching the final in a bar with a load of other Brits who cheered like hell when she left. A great moment.
