He is a gambler so has a very strong competitive streak, he played his hand wrong, and my guess is these tears are pure frustration.

Something's not right about this guy. The way he was initially presented as a player-pimp type is totally at odds with the way he's been acting in the house. Surely, to live the lifestyle that he claims he has would require a set of testicles? He appears to be lacking in that department thus far.

..I don't know whether his tears were genuine or not but I'd like him to stay on Friday as so far he doesn't seem anything like his persona and I think if he stays he could turn out to be an interesting housemate...
