Interesting. That's a very limited interpretation of their conversation reversed.
I haven't the slightest belief that most feigning outrage at Jemima's warning disliked Gina from the off.
The reverse could have gone on thus:-
I generally go for lighter guys not white, North African or light African American. I like lighter guys but not white. .......... You PROBABLY wouldn't go for a black guy
All said to the only white girl in a black house who Gina would have been guilty of targeting for no other reason than the loudest girl in the house had already picked her out.

No idea what you have tried to do here but it doesn't work, you can't just flip the convo and expect it to prove something.
You remove all the connotation and the intonational from the text, added to that you remove the fact it was simply a convenient platform from which to influence the house.

If you don't know what I'm trying to do how do you know it hasn't worked?
I can just flip the conversation. I just did. You grasped that I see.
The removal of connotation and intonation is your interpretation of the text ... you failed to understand or claim.
What Gina's ambition in the house is to silently listen to someone who doesn't like her speak of her and her approaches to race negatively? Cos the silence earns brownie points pun intended.

It hasn't worked because it was never said, it's a hypothetical.
There was no dialogue between the two, the conversation was between Jemima and Micheal regarding physical attraction and was in no way a racial slur.
Gina manipulated the initial conversation which changed the focus.

Oh so you did understand but preferred to dismiss my conjecture that' s perfectly valid within the context? not nice
I disagree with your interpretation that Jemima's comments were directed at
Michael. Disingenuous wouldn't even begin to describe it. But I see where you're going with it.
Jemima's comments following the incident support the facts. She was talking to Gina. However if as you insist she wasn't it makes her comments even more snide!

No need to resort to condescension.
My whole point was I don't believe your context is or could be valid, Jemima was having a conversation with Micheal and Gina interjected.
After being falsely accused Jemima was on the defensive and rather flustered therefore her wording was misconstrued in my opinion, you may disagree but that is how I viewed the incident.

Condescension? Who me? I humbly appreciate the opportunity to debate. With anyone.
Gina interjected and Jemima responded with racist comments. I don't remember Gina reaching into Jemima's mouth to elicit these comments. So I continue to firmly disagree in blaming the victim.
At the risk of boring everyone else but with ver kind regards,I'll respectfully discontinue addressing reason to you on this thread.

I had no feelings either way for either of them from the off, so I don't know what you're implying with your silly emoticon and your "feigning" implication, so spit it out if you've got something to say. For the record, I didn't like Jemima from the off, and I still don't.

All the rest of your post is pure conjecture. You can say the same old thing in as many different ways as you like, the fact is that the majority of people on this forum - and we have a few races and colours and backgrounds on here - think that what Gina did was cynical and wrong. You turning the whole thing around to a case of semantics isn't going to make anyone change their mind about what they saw. Yes, she could have phrased it differently. Shoulda, woulda, coulda... get over it.

Because you had sided with a majority it does not follow that you are right. Regardless of the racial mixture of that majority. The demographic which you don't actually know.
If you don't know what I'm implying with the "silly" emoticon you can focus harder.
I do not spit things out I say them politely. You do not think or speak for everyone on this board and I remain entitled to speak my mind. Even though you've tried to silence me before.
You may continue to speculate as to how my argument affects the minds of others but in reality you don't know what's in the mind of every poster or reader of this board. So you get over it! Stop trying to control

I have no need to focus on on emoticons because I mostly converse with people who can express themselves beautifully without them. You were trying to imply something... you still haven't got around to it, so I'll let it go.

How have I tried to silence you? You're on a Big Brother forum on the Internet. Get some perspective.

Actually, I do know what's in the minds of a lot of the posters on this board, because they've said so in their posts. I'm not guessing. I don't have to.

I wasn't asking you to get over it, I was suggesting Gina get over it. You obviously will never get over it.

Yes, focus is required here as you still can't fathom its meaning. But the you're letting that one go. Thanks.
Yes it goes blurry if you stare too long. I was terrified you would be able to decipher the symbol and be outraged. There I go again communicating with primitive symbols rather than the written word. Too complex for you though.
I was suggesting that you don't know whose mind my post would change. But it would seem you do. Good trick that and also miraculous. Hold on another symbol coming. Concentrate
My perspective remains reasonable yours irritable, controlling and over bearing .... honey I may never get over racism, but I'm so over you.
