From a betting standpoint Dexter is good value IMO. If a housemate survives a couple nominations the others generally back off nominating him, as they don't want to be seen as being against someone who is popular with the public. I think he will be quite successful at damage control now that Sallie is gone.

At 40/1 betting just one pound would be a way to hedge bets on other HMs with little downside. That's how I look at it as a sports bettor.

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole, even at 100/1. Especially with 'vote to EVICT'. The problem is he doesn't have enough 'allies', he's gonna be on a 'knifes edge' to be nommed and/or evicted every week. For the short term, at least. If he's 'miraculously' still there at week 6, at 12/1 & has a following...maybe something to consider.
