Nope. I thought she was embarrassing her daughter, which is also why Charlie was telling her to stop. The louder she got, the more incoherent she got, and the more she edged into hypocrite for accusing Gina of the same behavior she excuses in Charlie. That should've been her clue, but she was too wrapped up in having the spotlight to notice.
