I find it quite ridiculous to be honest. But not as ridiculous as the media circus surrounding this story. Even on there, they already have him as guilty.

Yeah it's kinda crazy how they've fast tracked him through legal proceedings to get him in court ASAP, they've clearly decided he's guilty and want to get him condemned before it slips out of the public's conscience.

I have a feeling its because at the moment while its still quite raw..the jury have already decided he is guilty. They would be hard pushed to find a jury who haven't seen all the reports about it. I think they may be worried their evidence isnt enough..especially if that photo of him leaving the bag is part of their evidence as that is ridiculous..even from a still photo you can see he hasnt even dropped the bag and is just swinging it

Apparently this trial must be totally private as its a matter of national security too. Though there has been little bits of leaked footage from his initial hearing.
