I suspect the photographer who released these has opened up a new can of worms now tbh. The other photo released of him getting out of the boat did not show his throat. This one does. And oddly enough, there is no gunshot wound, or slit..and certainly not the amount of blood that would come from a wound like that. So that happened after he was arrested it seems :S

Maybe he tried killing himself in custody, there is some blood though.

Where would he get a gun/knife from to attempt suicide in custody? The throat wound appeared between getting out of the boat, and getting to hospital. And he was searched as soon as he got out of the boat.
