Indeed. I find it a bit unsettling too that it seems to be those who dislike him rushing to say he is gay..almost as if its some kind of insult :/

I would hope nobody was using it as an insult?

I think the OP was generally curious and to be fair it is really nobody's business, his sexual orientation.

I will say though that if he is gay and he is hiding it I think it's sad that still in society someone still feels like they have to hide that part of them from the greater public.

I find Dexter entertaining, but I just can't 'buy' him as hetero. He seems a bit too femmy and camp. I can see him admiring the brand of jeans that Charlie wears rather than her legs and bum.

What about Dan and one of (if not both of) the twins? They are homosexual surely people would have an axe to grind with them aswell?

And for the record I don't actually dislike Dexter, I have never met him I have no right to have an opinion like that.

Sorry I didn't elaborate on that.

I meant that there is no direct correlation between people disliking Dexter and other homosexual housemates. I don't think you can use that as a crux for peoples comments on Dexter.

Sadly a lot of straight men do see being gay as the worst insult. That's so 'gay' is really common in lad culture.
