To me the people who have gone through nothing are Jack and Joe and Sophie. All they've had are nice tasks e.g. family and boyfriends, Westlife phone calls, secret tasks wearing head gear, tasks to win food. Worst thing Sophie's done is eat sour sweets. Boo hoo.
To be fair, Sam's main obstacle in BB probably has been too many people talking all at once, and that I'd imagine would be part of his real life anyway.
