The housemates disliking him is of his own doing.

The Twins constantly telling him they hate him and want him out, the HM's during the BB tasks voting Dexter the most hated, disliked blah blah blah...Dan calling him names, HM's accusing him of being a snake when all he was doing was trying to get involved with conversations they were having...and much more.

How can you seriously say that they haven't treated him any different? even Callum gets a far easier ride than Dexter did.

No, but unless you are lucky enough to get a diagnosis at an early stage it very much gets you labelled as stupid.

There is still a stigma attached to the condition.

I used to teach adult literacy and many of my students were undiagnosed dyslexics. Many of them self-identified as stupid because they'd been called stupid or thick whilst they were growing up, both by other kids, and by teachers.
