By 'the first half of the series' you actually mean 'a 3-5 day period in the first half of the series'. The flirting and incident was over in less than a week. OK she flirted but Gina used the race card -unjustly - in the very first week. I still dont like Gina but have managed to get over it. Mainly cuz she been so awful since. Hazel hasnt done much wrong since but still her detractors cant get over that 3-5 day period. Quite sad IMO
