BB has set Gina up by allowing her stupid boyfriend to gob off to Gina about Hazel. This more than anything has put Gina on the war path and encouraged her to go over the top with her insults to Hazel.
Both Gina and Hazel have been set up by BB in reality. Best thing Gina could do when leaving the house is to get rid of that interfering mug she has as a boyfriend. Who need enemies when you have a jerk like that in your life |

Yes in the highlights it didn't show hardly any of the convo between them, but gina said on a you tube clip that BB had told her not to ask about hazel but she asked anyway....
She now knows for certain hazel is hated on the outside and feels justified repeating charlies mates words of 'homewrecker' and '*****' it's bullying....

I think it's rich saying "Hazel should suck it up and do the tasks, that's what BB is about" essentially.
Whether you like her or not she's one of the few who's given her all to every task she's been given. Gina? Not so much. And as pointed out by Sophie tonight, Charlie tends to sit on the sidelines and let others do things unless she's specifically required. I let her off for one task when Gina is using the opportunity to act even more pretentious than usual. Last edited by Marsh.; 09-08-2013 at 01:08 AM. |

BB gave Gina the task, but Gina was the one who had control over it. She used the task to bully Hazel and try to take away her dignity. Hazel knew what she was at and riled against it and KEPT her dignity, while Gina came across as a spoiled spiteful thugish brat.

I think at one stage did BB ask Gina to pick individuals to single out on the shocks? IIRC.
I mean people rant about the manipulation of BB every year but never have I seen it so transparent. The commentary task for Hazel so everyone could hear her and then this one. Last edited by Marsh.; 09-08-2013 at 02:30 AM. |

Anyhow After Gina picked Hazel the first time and saw she was taking it in a foul manner she wanted to choose someone who'd take it light hearted. When Charlie told her she was starting to feel bad about it to and now that Sophie told her about the F**ing little bitches thing didn't anymore. Again maybe I should stop watching all the things that lead up to HL so I can rush to judgment as well

I think Hazel was hiding tears when she put that blanket over her face.
She'd just been informed that she only had porridge to sate her hunger, while the HM who'd been sitting on her arse taunting and electrocuting her all day would be getting a delicious meal as a reward for her nastiness! And then she had to endure more taunts from Gina ("Stay the ******* away!") while trying to sleep and put the whole horrible day behind her! Wasn't it enough for Gina that she'd been able to bully Hazel in the task?! That she'd been rewarded with a phone call from her boyfriend?! That she'd eaten a full meal while Hazel was left hungry?! This is the definition if bullying! |

You mean the actual version without it being the storyline of the week? Well just came to the same conclusion. That Hazel was just butt hurt still the Gina was Queen be and couldn't repeat her line of just doing the Task BB told her to.

I'm kind of done with Big Brother. I watched the show last night and was disgusted at the treatment of Hazel by Gina and Charlie, which was more than encouraged by BB. I'm the last one ever to roll out the 'B' word, but it did look a lot like bullying to me. Imagine if it had been Hazel as the Queen Bee and she'd been dishing out that bullsh!t to Gina. Even if people don't like Hazel, they can't enjoy the kind of singling out that Big Brother is enabling.
It's gone too far to redeem itself now. I really don't care about it any more, and sadly, I'm sure a lot of long-time fans feel the same.

I agree with Livia.
BB has formulated a strong chance for Gina to win. Not that she deserves it. As soon as they caught wind of her (unfortunate) popularity, she has been handed the spot light where she can parade her apparently "respected" honest opinion at will. If I'm honest, Hazel is one of only a few people in the house I have an ounce of respect for. Sam and the twins being the others. Unfortunately it would seem a majority of the BB fan base consists of mindless and what I could only describe to be jealous chav’ettes, which have wanted to do nothing but label Hazel a home-wrecker since being at the mercy of Daley’s unfortunate drunken attack. It takes two to tango at the end of the day. Daley is a big boy and old enough to make his own choices, and mistakes at it would quite radically transpire. I just find it shocking how everyone finds it so easy to hold Hazel 100% responsible for the fallout, but I digress. Hazel in my opinion, has been a great housemate. Intelligent, kind and courteous. It’s sad to see that her strong character is being exploited by having to endure the recent bullying without it being seriously addressed... I have been a long term fan of BB and now reach a point where I cringe at what I'm seeing and quite frankly am disappointed that the producers are so willing to be as reckless as they have to feed the hunger of the majority at the expense of their integrity and humanity. |

She was being a mardy little brat, and i'm pretty sure if hazel had been queen bee, she'd have been happily shocking them away, It was a task, nothing more.

In full agreement with both Livia and Currybean.
I've watched BB from the start, and after going through a slump with it's endless song and dance routines,I thought in the last couple of years it had regained its mojo!!Didn't like to see the increasing outside contact, but this series has taken the biscuit.Telling the HM's their ranking in popularity, who's considered a snake, who deserves a morning gunging, etc. The biased editing, and don't start me on BBBOTS,all have ruined my enjoyment, and I presume others?? I only joined this forum to see what the general consensus was on the handling of the Daley/Hazel situation, and was glad to see I wasn't alone in my outrage!! Still some decent,intelligent,non-sheep people about!! |
