Two little boys had so little poise
Each had a wooden head
Gaily one played - the other one brayed
Nothing of what they said
Had any clout - despite every pout
Nobody laughed at all
We couldn't watch - so switched the box off
As we climbed up the wall

Did you think you would both be winners?
There's no room on the screen for two
So climb up here Joe - the little sinners
Left the house to a lasting boo
Don't you know Jack we're all a tremble
Perhaps it's the crowds loud noise
But I sense that we won't remember
