If nothing else this shows a lot of people don't follow what's happening! Even Big Brother fans.
Sam chose his amount to ensure he DIDN'T leave. He heard what was involved and understood by picking the top amount he couldn't possibly be considered as having chosen the least. What is there NOT to get about that?
The Twins and Charlie picked in the 90's, so maybe Dexter's was the next lowest? When the Twins were in there Sam's price board was missing off the wall, so as it went along people had more chance of having to be the one who might go, as far as they were concerned.
The simple fact is NONE of them tried to walk away with any money. NONE OF THEM.
