I can't stand the the girl she needs all the attention on her and if it's not she feels the need to do something stupid to get it. She is so self absorbed and can't take any criticism it's pathetic and I'm not even going to start on the bodily functions............

I agree! She's just a silly wee, attention seeking girl.

I think she maybe just feels threatened that abz could win over her.I bet abz has partied harder than she ever will in the past. She just sees him for how he is now. She'll more than likely end up pregnant and fade into obscurity soon enough,She has no talent.

Everybody's entitled to an opinion..
I don't expect everyone to like everyone but since when does disliking someone translate into "spit bile about them at every opportunity". It's not about disliking, it's about hatefulness. And yes, everyone is entitled to whatever opinion they want, even if it's a hateful opinion soaked in an extra dose of judgemental nastiness... But yeah, it doesn't make for nice reading and like I said - it's no wonder that post counts / membership of this forum has plummetted.

I also don't personally think its right for people to get away with snidey, hateful comments about other human beings completely unchallenged under the guise of "right to an opinion". Yes, everyone has one. And is entitled to one. Just as I am entitled to the opinion that it's these miserable attitudes that are ruining our country, and I am entitled to feel that the vitriolic opinions of others makes me dislike them intensely, and I am entitled to say so.

If people don't want to be "insulted" for their stinking, festering, venomous little opinions then they should reconsider stating them.

Absolutely nothing, other than the fact that she has a vagina and is therefore a girl? Is the use of gender pronouns now considered sexist? Or are you just grasping at straws because really you have nothing to back up your hateful attitudes that are destroying our communities, and are afraid to admit or even see that you have been sucked in by class warfare propaganda designed to divide and conquer the population in order to keep us at each others throats and therefore politically placid? The minute you start blaming "impolite chavs" for ruining the country, you become a sheep. A sheep in a 10 year coma. Snap out of it.

Yeah, you'd never hear Charlotte spouting bitter nasty comments, would you?

I'm not excusing charlotte or saying that anyone is wrong to disagree with her behaviour if that's how they feel. I'm condemning the hateful attitude of the forum pitchfork mob who can't just disagree with her behaviour respectfully and feel the need to lash out in anger at someone who IS still young. The hatred, divisions and prejudice that swirl around Britain is what makes it broken, that's all I'm saying. You're no better than her. And yet you call others hypocrites?

See above, not the point. Thinking someone is "vile" is no excuse for being vile in return. Do you think someone like Abz, for example, would thank the OP for this thread? No, he would find it hateful and distasteful.

I do actually see your point but think "hate" is a very strong word to label people with.

Just personally I wouldn't have used the word to start the thread.

On the other hand it's a phrase you hear in the real world.

If I say I hate melons I'm not on a hateful mission against Melons, I just don't like them at all.

My point is it's very easy to choose to take things at face value and overreact to them.

Perhaps it's something to bear in mind when judging Charlotte.

What worries me is whether she really means what she says.

For me, if it's a joke then you can just about put up with it.
If it's her real personality then it's bordering on disagraceful and a step too far IMO.

For me it does indeed boil down to dislike.
Charlotte herself shows a lot of those characteristics does she not ?

If you like her because she's entertaining etc then fair enough.
But let's not pretend the criticism is somehow grossly unfair or she isn't at least partly responsible for any potential outcry that might ensue.

For me, the fact she's young is no real excuse.
I would be very suprised if she hadn't at least considered if she's setting a very bad example indeed.
For now I will assume she cares about the money and nothing else.

Sure you can argue celebrities aren't there to be role models.
But while it's a matter of opinion you can also argue there are some lines people shouldn't or won't cross out of principle.

the way the uber selfish attention seeking loudbouth bore charlotte views the world is everyone is there for her personal amusement and gratification....if they don't belch burp scream shag and fall over drunk screaming nonsense till 5 am then she thinks theyre weird and they make her uncomfortable

she is vile and very very sly. see how she spoke TO carol when carol was supposedly evicted, everything about charlotte is fake and contrived. why we reward this loud mouthed bore Ive no idea. pathetic creature
Charlotte is an attention seeker who is acting out her normal TV role in the house, she's a total conn in my eyes. I know the 16 year old fat chavs will love her and see her as a role model which says much about kids today doesn't it.

Charlotte gives the chavs an ego boost.

Most of the time they realise people regard them a scum, but seeing someone who purports to be one of their own on the telly and thus "famous" vindicates - for them - their own lifestyle and behaviour.

Spit bile?... The woman is 23 not 17, she is so distressed as she is co conflicted within herself, she knows how she behaves isn't socially acceptable and screaming 'I'm bein me'! isn't going to make it any more so.
It might be her but to function as an adult she has to change, that's just a fact.

It is not surprising that people react to base traits in a strong way. Maybe Vicky did have a point when she was asking what type of a role model Charlotte was for young women. I happen to agree with what she said. The difficulty here is that Charlotte was given a part in Geordie Shore for precisely the 'bodily functions' part of her personality and it seems she genuinely thinks that because she is actively encouraged to be like this for one programme that it's OK to be like this on any programme. I like quite a lot of Charlotte's personality when she moves away from the baser side of her nature. I have seen glimmers of maturity and kindness in her and at times she has been far nicer than Carol and Louie for instance. I think CBB might go a long way into changing her for the better.

Like I said on the other thread she is a skip and a jump from wildlife on one!
We enjoy watching the apes picking their arses and sniffing it... Geordie Shore is no different to me, she's just a bald ape.

I wish no ill will on her or anyone. I hope she goes away and finds a better way to live. I hope she grows and changes and I put a lot of the blame on the people who advise her and surround and the people who make trash like Geordie shore or the valleys. Its a total disgrace. we preach about kids growing up to soon, getting pregnant too young, getting diseases too, sometimes leading to abortions (were near the top of the worlds abortion league with 170,000 per year) we spend billions educating our children in schools and 10000s of hours at home to learn, grow , understand, to respect , to be good moral and decent.....then we throw it all away by promoting this type of behaviour. This does massive damage to the UK youth culture imo
I just don't ever want to see that kind of behaviour on my tv nor do I want to see millions of people influenced by her nor see her as a role model.

Agree with this entirely. Her trying to be funny in the diary room is so transparent it's cringeworthy. You can almost see in her eyes, her trying to think up her next stupid remark.

This also is so so true !

On the one hand people are blamed for being irresponsible but they're bombarded with so many arguably wrong moral messages on TV.

Ultimately it's down to the individual but there's a very good reason for education and not everything is learnt in the classroom.

See your point but politics is one thing, respect for your fellow human being is another.

That said if the NHS was filled with professionals thinking it fun to piss the bed then it would hardly be a suprise if hospitals care standards dropped.

And if people are so dumbed down with Geordie Shore and got their priorities all wrong they're hardly gonna be in a position to change anyway.

Must admit though, I think far too many people solely blame the celebrities themselves but not the cheerleaders who appear to me to support a backward thinking culture.

If you ask me C5 are partly responsible for even letting her on the show in the first place.
But of course I guess it's all about ratings and money these days

You're crossing the line right there, imo. You do understand that sex in itself does not have to lead to diseases and abortions, and that this is something that can happen at other ages too? You're just engaging in slut shaming now, which is hardly neither good nor morally right. In no way does engaging in sex as an ADULT like Charlotte is exclude you from being good, moral and decent.

Fantastic post - couldn't agree more. As for Charlotte, she seems very insecure and seeks attention in a way that is almost offensive.

Lets see who is left in there. Lauren who is transgender and is so insecure you would think she was about 15. She wants to be treated like a child. I mean Courtney SPOON FEEDING her that was the most cringeworthy thing I have ever seen. Then we have Courtney who has had so much surgery she doesn't look even remotely like what she looked like when she was younger, has married an aging actor and has been walking around the house in almost nothing on since the first night, a spoilt brat who refused to wear a fecking boiler suit. Then we have Mario ( ah the guy who looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth) who has been in all the rag mags and media having cheated and dumped girls one after the other. We have Abz who was in the band 5 and had a huge amount of success who has barely uttered ten lines in the past few weeks and has done absolutely nothing to merit winning. We have Carol who has had a face like a wasp for most of the time and been snippy, bitchy, jealous and bossy since the first night she came into the house not to mention her absolutely dreadful drunkenness. We have Louie the diva who has sashayed his way around the house while bitchily telling everyone he doesn't give a **** and has no bother in nominating anyone. And then we have Vicky who from the first night started to excersise her authority in the house regarding the drink etc. She has a good career in Corry street but who has heard anything of her since then? The very fact that she signed up for Celeb BB shows she is desperate to be back in the public eye. Charlotte is in a very popular show ( which I have never seen and wouldn't watch as its not my thing) has thousands of twitter followers and fans who for some reason love that show. is loud, brash, has very little hygiene, talks too openly about her sexual exploits but deep down I truly believe has a heart. Pick your winner people. I don't think any of them can afford to live in a glasshouse and throw stones at the others do you?
