So the current CBB12 average is 2.4 against last years 2.2.
Thissummer saw both BB and CBB increase in ratings which is good and im sure January CBB will be pretty massive again for Chanel 5. BB14 officially averaged 1.9 including all the missing +1' god damn it lol. So close to 2 million. So yeah CBB did improve slightly but not enough to warrant bringing it back next summer. Lets wait for the final officials though. |

Tbh if 2.2 million for CBB10 was good enough for it to be carried on for another series, I doubt that Channel 5 will be jump at the chance of getting rid of summer CBB with a risen average.. will have to see how the rest of the officials pan out, good year for BB/CBB in general though

I think the 1.9m for BB14 WAS including all possible +1. With a lot of the +1 missing, BB14 officially averaged 1.82m, but Ch5 released a statement saying it averaged 1.9m so they must have made an estimate or have the missing +1 numbers (but haven't released them to us). And I thought CBB10 got 2.3m not 2.2m? But anyway, it's so far on 2.4m with 1 week of officials left to go, it should remain at that, or go a tiny bit higher as the last eviction double and final would bring it up (as both shows probably got around 2.6m). Another thing, Broadcast is saying that the 2.2m is for the 8:30pm-10pm slot for the final, so the 30 mins being included may have brought it down because I doubt many tuned in for the 8:30pm-9pm. So, maybe that got around 1.5m, but the ACTUAL 9pm-10pm averaged around 2.5m-2.6m? Last edited by *mazedsalv**; 17-09-2013 at 01:42 PM. |

Part 2 of CBB12 lost around half a million! They cant be pleased with that. Seriously 500k! to make way for Celeb Super Spa which most episodes actually ended up getting 500k or under each night. What bugged me most was the fact that the BB14 final was building momentum peaking at 2.5 at 10pm then they cut it off for an hour for Under The Dome. The BB14 finale could have easily got a 2.5 in officials if it wasn't for the stupid decision to split it in 2. Last edited by daniel-lewis-1985; 24-09-2013 at 11:56 AM. |

They just wanted to save Superspa which debuted low and ended up incredibly low anyway! So the 2 part finales for both series... BB14: Part 1- 2.20m excl +1 Part 2- 1.96m excl +1 CBB12- Part 1- 2.59m incl +1 Part 2 -2.09m excl +1 BB14 did fantastically well in comparison to BB13. Even Part 2 was around 300k higher than the earlier BB13 final. And to think that BB14 started with 2.35m on Launch Night #1 officially. Last edited by *mazedsalv**; 24-09-2013 at 02:45 PM. |

Also, official rating for the 8.30pm-9pm countdown show was 1.15million (exc +1)
Hope they avoid clashing with the soaps during next summer's CBB... clearly doesn't work for them |
