..yeah I do see that people's views on marriage can be a lot to do with what they see of other marriages around them..I'm sorry that it's maybe not all that great for your brother...

I'm married, at the time we got married it was important to us to get married, even though we had lived together for a few years before hand, looking back now I'm not sure why we felt the need, (just fancied making it official I guess) as I don't think being married had held us together, I think we have stayed together through some rough patches and come out the other side stronger, mainly because we love each other, know each other inside out and couldn't imagine being with anyone else rather than because we are married.

This made me laugh. My mum was a cricket widow when we were growing up and my mum and dad had loads of rows which alway ended with my mum saying my dad should just take his bed and sleep at the bloody cricket club!

Funnily enough, now they are both retired and together all the time, my dad is a cricket umpire and my mum is GUTTED if his games get called off so she doesn't get the peace if having him out if the house all day Saturday and Sunday.

Don't want you think we are skipping through fields of poppies every morning blowing kisses at each other, he can be a right pain in the arse at times, and that is a bit of a shame as I am perfect!

I have been engaged since I was 16 so 15 years now and I don't know if we will ever get married or not, I'm not really fussed either way and think we are perfect as we are atm.
