..yeah you're right, it would have happened all the time, I wonder if it would have been more to the lower servants though and not someone like Anna who was part of Lady Mary's confidence and a ladies maid etc..quite sort of 'high up' ..but I think it's good it is her for the storyline and such a popular character....
