The point of my post Kizzy was that we can't do anything about it, we cant change the weather and we can't change the fuel cost hikes, of course the rising prices has a terrible effect on people but we are powerless to do anything about it.

Every year we hear about these terrible winters that we are going to be hit with and every year we hear that people are going to lose their lives because they can't afford the fuel bills but in reality all we can do is prepare for winter the best we can.

The fuel companies are running a business and the best time for them to raise prices is obviously the winter.

It did sound a bit glib, put up and shut up is an option yes I suppose.
They are yes, and from a business point of view that makes sense but ethically it's wrong imo.
The British Red Cross have recently added Britain to their list of countries where some require food aid.. is this right?
