Brazil v.s Germany/Spain in the final. Can´t see past that at the moment.
Typical other contenders: Netherlands, Italy, Argentina and Portugal. Maybe France. Even England if all goes well. Potential Surprisers: Ghana, Japan, Ivory Coast, South Korea, Uruguay, USA, Iran and Russia. No chance in hell: Bosnia, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Honduras and Australia IMO. But, of course it´s very, very early to say, before the draw and rosters are announced. --------- Will be supporting Netherlands, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Colombia, Uruguay, Croatia and Mexico at least. And of course my very own sweep. Last edited by Calderyon; 21-11-2013 at 02:54 AM. |

I will keep a curious eye on Japan, they've continued to impress me since they hosted the World Cup with Korea.

It's not exactly being controversial to be saying Belgium have a good chance of winning it, but I personally think they won't live up to the pressure, and generally a European team doesn't have a hope in hell

I don't see why Portugal and especially Spain can't do well in the conditions. Germany are robots too who can also do well.

Since 1954 - Czechoslovakia reached the final in Chile, Germany and Italy reached the final in Mexico, Holland reached the final in Argentina and they have all been beaten by South American teams, bad times.

All I want is Portugal V Argentina in the knockout stages. Would be so epic.
