he is nice guy. i'm no football fan but he was a brilliant player and still is.
he should be still playing for england. and would be if they weren't ageist .even playing for 20 mins would be worthwhile. than the crap we have playing now. but he is a genuine nice guy. most people arn't

He won 6 Premiereships, but he wasn't the key figure in any of them. He played with better players. Cantona, Keane, Irwin, and lots of others. Man United suffered no dip at all when he was offloaded to Real Madrid.

He won the League in 3 other countries as a bit-part player. He's effectively been a a fashion icon and style guru since before he left United, and a passenger in the US and PSG and even at Real.

He's a fabricaion of the shallow celeb world, not a great footbaler.
