actually that's not always the case! look at last year when pussycat doll got to the final!! and came second! david haye was robbed he should of came second ! because out of him and charlie i wanted either of them to win

but pussycat doll got on my nerves and i got the impression she got to the final because of her looks! i think even dec was going on about fancying her

and a few years back janice bloody dickinson got to final! i thought she was going to win
thank god chris biggins won instead!!!

so mostly yeah americans get resented but it depends which american it is
because the public are soo superficial and fickle at times
