Whenever Fox Sports shows soccer over here, the announcer sounds like an amateur but he does put excitement into it sometimes.

They don't usually play music over here, there's just a goal graphic that pops up in the scorebox bug for about a minute in the team's color used for that game and then it goes back to to the regular scorebox. But they play a little sound effect when they're throwing up graphics like who was subbed in, stats for the game, etc.

They have UEFA Champs over here in the US, FOX has it, they use UEFA's scorebox except they add the teams kit color to the edges of the box.
