Just an idea I'm bouncing around, thought I'd see if there's interest:

Beginning with (for example) 20 players, the players are split into two teams. These two teams will debate on a subject of my choosing, with subjects ranging from the pedantic (We never landed on the moon) to the downright trivial (Wolf was the best of the Gladiators). In a team effort, the groups will be asked to construct the best argument they have for/against the topic and once they have done so, the forum will vote on which team had the better argument.

The winning team will stay in the game, and be split into two new teams. The losing team are eliminated entirely. This will continue until we are down to a final 2, who will then debate against one another to see who will be crowned the most argumentative forumer.

So TiBB, whose side are you on?

teams of 10? that'll be hard for people to get their arguments across and there will always be someone with a better argument so its bound to leave 6/7 people with nothing to do.

I was considering splitting into teams of 5 and having 4 teams of 5 at the start, it's a work in progress :P

Gonna postpone Tibb Apprentice 2014 for a few months, was gonna be February but with circumstances I haven't been able to devote any time to it whatsoever, maybe May/June depending on what else others have planned

However!! Dun dun dun. I would like to tentatively attempt Tibb's Got Talent, on the basis of getting enough people to take part. Would take place in March, so that gives people ages to put something together, here's some suggestions....
