They've not really told me how it's all happened but to my knowledge I had a viral illness which infected my cyst and left me dehydrated, and then somehow that led to me having glandular fever but I'm not clear on how that happened yet


...Glandular fever can be quite nasty, my OH had it once but it's been diagnosed and you're in the right place, so hopefully you'll recover reasonably quickly...a poisonous cyst as well, that's not like you to have complications, Zee...is that part treatable with antibiotics or will it have to be removed..?..

I'm not sure yet, a plastic surgeon is coming to see me today at some point but I think they're going to be removing it, hopefully anyway! My glands have definitely gone down since I've been in hospital, my neck was wider than my head at one point! Yuck

..well, the swelling going down is a good thing because you'll need to be rid of any infections before they could do surgery if that's what will happen for the cyst...but, uh uh, a plastic surgeon/Zee combination..:shock:...this doesn't sound great, you could go in with a cyst and come out as Katy Perry..THIS IS YOU, ZEE....!!!!!!....
