Nicole has a vastly superior vocal range and ability plus Nicole oozes sexiness, stage presence and charisma, which Sam lacks. Why bother with Sam? Last year Jahmain was dominated but mic gate and the fact he's a guy so he was not shown up as much and James Arthur held his won. Nicole easily wiped the floor with Sam.

Again, disagree Nicole was just singing. If Sam b was as good as her fans overhyped her she would have more than held her own, she failed totally and to reiterate all Nicole did was show why Sam has no career in the real world. Sam b was just so so, all the best bits came from Nicole.

Sam was like a Buckie Thistle Fc player trying to play for Nicole's Bayern Munich or Paris St Germain.

but why should she? Sam just isn't as good as people make out. You put Sam next to a world class talent like Nicole and she is totally exposed. All the duets were on paper matched up eg Shane same sort of ability as Nicholas and the other XF contestants held their own. The raw fact is Sam did the worst in the duets. To be a star you actually have to have star quality, against Nicole we ALL saw Sam doesn't have it.

Rubbish - Sam was bound to feel insecure in that situation, she is the unknown contestant on the show, whilst Nicole is one of the judges and so-called star. Nicole was given the biggest part of the song to sing, probably at her insistence, and did not exercise any commonsense in realising that the song was about Sam, not her. Do you think Sharon would have been pleased with the way she made that song her's and not Sam's? It was embarrasing.

We are not all so influenced by a pretty face as others and do not expect all our female singers to look a certain way to be successful.

but that's it nicole fault she has the better marketing package and sings better. All eyes and ears were on nicole. Poor Sam. Shown up by a better singer who just happend to be prettier, slimmer and more charismatic. I'd hate her, too.

You really do miss the point don't you. The song should have been about show-casing Sam's voice, not Nicole's. Can't you see how sad that was? I think they made a hugh error as it was incredibly insulting to the viewers and voters of the show - and was just another blatant attempt at selling Nicole. It was not the time or place. I was beginning to go off Nicole a little with all the 'drama's - but that took it one step too far. Sam was and is the bigger person, always will be.

Why are you so obsessed with looks. Nicole has an unfair advantage, she is younger, has no children and has the money to buy the best of everything including beauty treaments. So to keep making comparrisons is ludicrous. Who cares anyway, other than the shallow?

It would. I was gobsmacked when we discovered Sam was getting Nicole - but was certainly not prepared for the shamble of Nicole letting herdown so badly - and actually competing with her rather than supporting her.

Even if you took that all away from Nicole she would probably still be prettier than Sam B, and I really don't mean to cause offense here as my joint favourite wasn't very pretty either, but let's face it Nicole is a very pretty woman and not many women will compete with Nicole on looks.

Beauty is subjective. Not to mention we can't know. Stick Nicole on a council estate without her personal trainers, her diets and LA lifestyle you might end up with an acne ridden witch. Who knows.
