I sometimes think 13 is too young to be signed up to certain things online if I'm honest, some of the stuff I have seen under 15/16's post actually make me feel uncomfortable and I really wouldn't be happy if I found out my child was posting or discussing things of the same nature, that said I guess it all depends on the person in questions maturity levels too.

Its ultimately up to parents to monitor what their kids are doing online, what they are signing up to etc, obviously certain websites have age guidelines and that in place but they can't always enforce because they have no way of proving users ages.
