To the likes of you and me, no, but to someone like Britney Spears who built a career on her image, it's the most important thing in the world. I don't think it's important to Britney herself, but her team are probably very concerned with her image - seeing as Britney's abilities in all aspects of performance art have more or less gone to the scrap heap. She'll never be the way she was before because she had a well documented breakdown and lost all interest in what she was doing.

I think she's addicted to attention because it's all she's ever known but she doesn't have the means to bring in attention anymore. I think she wants to be left alone but her need for attention and the people who can make money out of her won't let her leave.

She's slowly getting her life back on track and seems to enjoy what she's doing. I see no harm in it. I still think she's a great performer.

I don't think she enjoys what she's doing at all but I think she is slowly getting her life back and with the life she's had, she deserves to be able to just take it easy for a while and not be throwing herself into touring and dancing relentlessly.

I agree. She has enough money to take a break or slow down.
