No idea really. I would say if he randomly gave his (bigotted) views in a public rant or something then it would be wrong, as would actually saying TO a gay person 'you are unnatural/disabled/etc'. But answering a question that he was asked, and in private, is different.

Unfortunately you cant change the way some people think. And from my experience, the older generation seem to be the most intolerant...they have been able to be that for years and years unchallenged, its not going to change now sadly.
