I am no fan of Jim Davidson, but for crying out loud, age does not and should not come into it when someone needs their sleep. Those housemates have all day to play around and cause havoc if they so wish, but after 2-3am at least then housemates should make exceptions for those who actually need some sleep and go make fun in the living area or elsewhere if they can't sleep. I bet if they got to bed late and tried for a lie in and the ohers kept them awake, they would soon show their grumpy sides.
