poor jim my eye. He is grumpy and sour faced and a total stuck in the mud. He is on the wrong show if he wants a quiet peaceful house and his 8 hours sleep at night. I think he was a very bad choice of a housemate. This year I believe CBB has got its highest ratings ever and is it because Jim Lionel Liz ( who we never heard of) and a washed up Nolan is in the house????? I don't think so

Agreed. Surely if someone is offered a lot of money that will afford them a better live for their child like college or something they will take it. It is good if someone is in the position to be able to stay at home with their kids and not worry about money but Luisa has to work and she shouldn't be targeted just because she went away for 3 weeks. Jim is also obsessed with Linda, Luisa, and Jasmine, why people seem to edit history when it comes to Saint Jim is beyond me, I don't even dislike the guy but fgs his not perfect in any of these situations and can be just as guilty for some of the things that people attack the girls for.

I think we need to stop trying to pick sides in all of these arguments as if one or both people involved in them are amazing people and there's either a mutual misunderstanding or one of them is horrible and the other one isn't. Most of these housemates are nasty, deeply flawed people and I am SO glad they are because this has been the most fascinating series of Celebrity Big Brother to ever grace our screens. Aside from a few dud castings (Evander, Ollie, Sam and Liz for not opening up at all) the producers have managed to get some amazingly awful housemates in there and it's just that magic combination of the right people at the right time in the right combination that has made this compelling viewing!

Neither Luisa nor Jim are nice people. It's amazing.

I hate when people pick on housemates for being away from their kids, It's potentially 3 weeks away from your kid for a couple of hundred thousand pound. Plenty of professions mean a parent has to live apart from their child for sometimes months.

Would you criticise say a Soldier for being away from their kids for months at a time too?

I agree with you there StupidHoe, I don't have any problem with housemates being away from their families for 3 weeks either.
As you point out, many people have to be and often are away from their families for far longer than that even.

I feel a bit bad saying that she is because it was obvious that Evander was just there for the easy money and didn't have much to say at all; and Sam and Ollie are either too self aware to give much away about themselves or they're just dull; whereas Liz has been contributing just not in a huge way, she likes to take a back seat... but in comparison to say Lionel, who also takes a back seat but has had a few things to say for himself, she's still barely saying anything. I hope she opens up more, the potential is there for a great housemate who could reach the final if she continues to put her best foot forward... she's looking great next to all these horrible housemates.

I think they are unknowingly doing him a massive favour. (Luisa and Jasmine, that is, not Linda) As I said in another thread, without Luisa Jim would have no air time. If she and Jasmine had just ignored his grumpiness what would be seen of Jim? He has had no story line of his own. The raunchy girls aren't popular so Jim is getting the public sympathy vote. It'll take him all the way to the final.

Linda is doing Jim big favours. Everytime he blanks or walks away rom her, his likability factor goes up. I think he is clear 2nd fav now from a big outsider so he is doing something right.
