Nah I think that's nonsense, dying doesn't suddenly vindicate someone of bad things they did when they were alive - I'm not suggesting Jim's allowed to sit and rip into Linda's deceased husband but he shouldn't have to tread on eggshells if Linda's been the one niggling away at him over something that happened all those years ago. If she'd not even hinted at having some kind of issue with Jim and he'd brought it up the way he did, I'd be on her side, but she's been trying to get a reaction from him for two weeks now and he finally gave her one. It clearly rattled him when he found out Luisa had actually gone and asked her though so I think he felt bad, as he should. I feel sorry for Linda but she's had it coming from day 1.

after eating dinner they are in the kitchen and the topic of conversation is about how luisa is happy being single and how she spends time with her kid


jim asks her dont you miss having a man in your life out of blue linda jumps down his throat and causes a argument

he goes into the garden has a bitch about linda as does she while in the kitchen


jim returns to the kitchen cleanse away linda's plate for her asks her
has she enjoyed her meal and then she kicks of again he asks not to do this but she carrys on


linda is in bed luisa is asking jim whats the deal with you two there must be something thats gone on in the past


hes gone ''i dont know ask linda'' then ''ask about frank carson dressing room''
He has told luisa the reason without actually saying anything


linda comes out into the smoking area talks to jim like **** gets into his personal space pointing her finger at his face

seems this hate stems from jim having a argument with her husband because he stole from his friend

Trouble is with the history that some of them have in there (obviously Jim in particular) it's a slippery slope if you start bringing in people's past to try and point score in an argument

Linda has been subtle but devious with it repeatedly saying how she doesn't like Jim and talking about the history between them without going into the specifics, Jim slipped up by bringing that incident into the argument and I think he knows it

Yeah definitely - while Linda has been trying to provoke him, she has been very, very careful to not say anything specifically about why she dislikes him so much. He knew that and was responding in kind; by not mentioning anything specific - but bringing up that incident was a mistake and now Linda can quite reasonably claim that he fired the first shot - before it was all just posturing, really.

Jim once again turned the convo into a man/woman thing.

Linda pointed it out. He did the same thing in his row with Luisa.

Jim then alluded to an incident involving Linda's late husband.

Nasty and totally irrelevant. He knew instantly that he looked like a massive **** which is why he denied saying it then denied telling Luisa to ask in the first place.

I personally think he threw it out there to make her admit where her anger was coming from to try and dispel any correlation to things Jim is being judged for that happened a long time ago. It wasn't done with any great finesse but its now out there and the reasons for her hatred are now out in the open and he can deal with it accordingly.

But Jim never insulted her husband. He was just wondering if that was the reason she hated him. Probably should haven't said it, but he didn't mean to upset her.

You're possibly right Vanessa - certainly what he said was because he was angry but he didn't say it to Linda's face because he knew it would upset her, and I don't think he expected Luisa to go and do it (which was naive of him) so when Linda's calmed down he should try and apologise to her again, what he said wasn't fair, and Linda didn't even hear it from him so that makes it a bit worse, she's possibly even just upset because she's fearing the worst.
