Yes it is. Everything pretty much failed. In the 9pm slot (well not all starting at 9pm, some at 8pm and 8:30pm):

ITV (FA Cup)- 3.3m
BBC (Waterloo Road)- 3.3m
C4 (24 hours in A+E)- 2.6m

So that is why the share is so high. Looks like people just weren't interested in TV last night!

Is that one of the closest 9pm battles between all 5 main channels in a long time? All within 1.3m of each other.

BBC1- Waterloo Road- 3.33m + Live at the Apollo- 2.15m
ITV1- 3.27m

CH5- Celebrity Big Brother- 2.49m
BBC2- Wild Brazil- 2.03m

i took all the shares of the main show (the ones that were provided in this thread, some are missing) and i averaged them, it averaged out to be 10.01%

I agree. But it seems not many wanted to watch TV last night judging by every single channel doing worse than usual (well especially the main 2 channels), and that reflected in the brilliant share.

The share makes up for the lack of growth, as has been pointed out it seems like it was a quiet night in general.

CBB continues it's strong ratings run. Last night got 2.45m incl +1! I thought after the 2.49m for the eviction that it would drop to 2.3m, but luckily it didn't! It came 3rd in the slot.

that means bb beat un-dateables right?? At 9pm #SilentWitness (5.48m/22.6%, up 220k on last Thu), beat #Benidorm (5.16m/21.3%, down 600k). #CBB finished third with 2.45m/10.1%.

Doesn't seem the evictions are climbing that much from the HL shows. Clearly shows how consistent the audience is.

Last night got 2.51m incl +1 (11.1%). It was however 20k up on last Friday and came 3rd in it's slot.

2.9m. The highest on Channel 5 out of all the CBB and regular version. That's what it looks like so far anyway.
