Ha! He used Lionel as the only person in the house who was near his own age (62 going on 90).
As Jim said when Lionel was evicted 'he was alright in small doses' so even an 82 year old man was too much for Jim to handle. I can understand his take on that, as Lionel was full of life and enthusiasm and never once complained about the young ones having fun - he joined in!
